2000
Our heritage begins with "World Wide School", a spin off company of Wall Street English, with possibly the most visionary team ever in the Education Industry, working on Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Online Education more than a decade before such technologies would garner widespread adoption.
2009
The Academy One schools are opened in Italy, and take the market by storm by introducing Blended Learning through Education Standard's web platform for English Language as well as IT training, soon becoming one of the very few companies allowed to release certifications for both.
2014
That's Mandarin, the oldest and most successful Chinese Language Training company with schools in Beijing and Shanghai, creates a joint venture with Education Standard to start Mandarin Cafe, the first fully online Chinese school. Talent Academy, a premium multi-talent Education company with centers in Shanghai, begins a journey of digital transformation in joint venture with Education Standard.
2017
Education Standard brings English Blended Learning to China, by opening centers under the new Elite Kids brand.
